About Basque
Basque is spoken in the Basque Country and Navarre in Spain and in the French Basque Country. About 900,000 people speak it, and many more understand it. It is a language isolate, unrelated to any other living language, and is co-official in the Basque Autonomous Community and parts of Navarre.
