About Cornish

Cornish is the Celtic language of Cornwall in south-west England, closely related to Breton and Welsh. It ceased to be a community language around 1800 and was revived in the 20th century; today a few hundred people speak it fluently and several thousand know some. UNESCO reclassified it in 2010 from extinct to critically endangered.
