About Ladin
Ladin is a Rhaeto-Romance language spoken in the valleys around the Sella massif in the Dolomites: Val Badia, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Fodom and Ampezzo. About 30,000 people speak it, and it is officially recognised in South Tyrol and Trentino. UNESCO classes it as definitely endangered.
