About Scottish Gaelic
Scottish Gaelic is spoken mainly in the Western Isles, the Highlands and Glasgow, and by a small community in Nova Scotia, Canada. About 60,000 people speak it, with many more able to understand some. UNESCO classes it as definitely endangered, and it is officially recognised in Scotland.
