About Upper Sorbian
Upper Sorbian is a West Slavic language spoken in Upper Lusatia in Saxony, Germany, around Bautzen (Budyšin). An estimated 15,000 to 20,000 people speak it, mostly in the Catholic villages between Bautzen, Kamenz and Hoyerswerda. It is a recognised minority language in Germany, UNESCO classes it as definitely endangered, and like Slovene it still has a dual grammatical number.
